Little Eyes reaches out to disabled children and teenagers in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing a message of hope and courage through beautiful and uplifting stories.
At a home for the blind, which cares for 43 blind children and teenagers, a staff member reads these fascinating stories to the children. Since they support themselves only through selling handicrafts, Little Eyes also works with the local community to supply this home with basic food staples on a regular basis.
At another center, forty-four young handicapped children received beautiful bi-lingual character-building storybooks along with a 3 weeks supply of food. Little Eyes assists them as often as possible with food items, since they receive little outside help.
With only a few caretakers at this center, the older children help care for the younger ones, and will read the books aloud to those that are not yet able to read.
