In Vietnam, orphans or children from impoverished backgrounds must learn English in order to find gainful employment when they grow up. Little Eyes offers free English classes to orphanages and disadvantaged schools both in Ho Chi Minh City as well as rural areas.
Every week, over 500 children from grades 1 to 5 attend the free English classes. The students participate wholeheartedly and always ask for more.
“The Lovely School” is a needy school run by Catholic sisters. Over the years Little Eyes has supplied them with food and assisted with constructing sanitary facilities and other improvements in the school.
120 poor children from “The Lovely School” attend the weekly free English classes, and have received hundreds of free colorfully illustrated bi-lingual books as a part of the class material.
